Because the new UPC Mobile Europe Flat subscriptions include lots of roaming at a low price. Starting from as little as CHF 35.00, you can use your smartphone in European countries in just the same way as you do in Switzerland.
If the monthly High Speed data included in your contract are used up during your stay in an EU country, you will be informed of this by text. You can then decide to either book a roaming packet as in the past or to continue browsing at the normal data rate of only CHF 0.30/MB without any problem.
And this is what the new subscriptions entail:
- Unlimited calls within the EU country you are visiting plus outgoing to Switzerland and incoming in the EU country you are visiting.
- Unlimited texts from the EU country being visited to all Swiss networks.
- Unlimited calls and texts within Switzerland.
- Mobile High Speed data packets of 1,000 MB, 4,000 MB or 10,000 MB in Switzerland and the EU country you are visiting.
- Unlimited browsing and free WhatsApp messaging in Switzerland
Mobile Swiss Flat
With the introduction of the UPC Mobile Europe Flat subscriptions, we are adjusting existing subscriptions. The current Mobile Unlimited subscriptions are being replaced by the new UPC Mobile Swiss Flat subscriptions. Unlimited calls and texts within Switzerland are still included in the subscriptions but roaming packets are not – however, these can be flexibly booked separately if required (e.g. 250 MB for only CHF 15 from 13 July). The perfect subscription for everyone who mainly contacts people in Switzerland.

Changing subscriptions made easy
Do you like one of the new Mobile subscriptions and would you like to switch to it? You can make the switch very easily in MyUPC. Depending on the subscription, there may be a minimum contract period which must be complied with. Please note that no automatic migrations are carried out.
