Hi Adriana,
again I am very grateful, that someone is listining and replying.
Now you can choose to use an appleId for imessage, but again this is not what I wish to do. This is what you would do from an iPad or Mac. I wish to use my phone number, which is what the expected option for an iPhone would be.
My mobile data is working fine and so is my wifi, but this has nothing to do with activating iMessage for the phone number.
The iPhone attempts to send a scilent sms to the apple server that (google says) resides in the UK. I am able to send sms abroad, so that part is fine.
This sms though has to be designed in a certain way, so that it can lead to a successful activation. And now this is where you come in. So the is my question again: DO YOU SUPPORT THIS, OR NOT?
If I work on this for another few hours of phone support, can I get this to work, or is it clear from the start, that this cannot work?
I hope you can clarify this.
Thanks for your help.
Kind regards
Birgit Theile
