Why is it so difficult to reach an English speaking person in the CableCom call centre? Marketing is in English, the site is in English, the Digibox is in English….so by all accounts CableCom has tailored their service to the English speaking market.
And yet, when there is a problem like today, the call centre flatly refuses to connect us with an English speaking person. It ends up being rude.
I know I know we’re the foreigners - but in this highly tolerant country we have been very lucky with about everyone (even the plumbers will be kind enough to try English) - why are CableCom call centre staff (whom we pay monthly for a service) so arrogant and unhelpful?
