UPC Router wireless fail

Hello.

I’ve been using UPC internet for almost 2 years now and I have a very big problem.

First when I started using UPC router I had some WIFI problems with my phone, it kept disconnecting and I had to restart the WIFI of my phone.

Now I’ve finally changed my flat and they also have UPC internet so this time it keeps disconnecting from my laptop.

See, my phone was not so important BUT i have some important stuff to do with my laptop and the Wifi keeps disconnecting.

At the moment I cannot use direct cable because I live in a shared house and I cannot put a cable from the router to my room.

Could you please be kind and tell me a solution for this?

I understand what you mean but there is only one WIFI that I can connect to.

please make sure that your WIFI networks have different names, otherwise your devices always switch from one WIFI 2.4 GHz to the other WIFI 5GHz.
